How the God of eternity

Reaches down far from worlds unknown

To the human soul

Making His love in us known

Heaven's great blessing received

Is a God full of mercy so free

Reaching out through all time and through space

To the human race

Revealing His peace and His grace

Restoring my soul and making me whole.

Heaven's great history

Shows a God full of kindness and strenghth

Raining down on the hardest of hearts

Piercing through all the dark

With healing and light from a far

Heaven's great gift to the earth

Was our Saviour

Our Lord's humble birth

Looking down from his throne up above

To be born here in us

Giving his unending love

Restoring my soul and making me ever whole.

All I want to do is thank you Lord

All I want to do is praise you Lord

Touching me and loving me

And sending your spirit to set me free.
